Video: Host your own Bag It screening

June is looking like a busy month! First, kick off Canada Environment Week on June 5th, 2011 (which is also World Environment Day). To keep the good times rolling, you can join the celebration at Love Vancouver, Love Your Planet in Olympic Village!

We may see some rain during Canada Environment Week (who are we kidding – of course it’ll rain!), but don’t worry, we still have you covered ( :] ). This is a rainy day activity that:

1. You can do indoors, and
2. Will even help increase environmental awareness in your community!

Host a screening of “Bag It” at your office, school or home. It’s really easy as 1-2-.. well, that’s it really. Just two steps!

“Bag It” is a documentary movie that looks into the consequences of plastic in our lifestyles and challenges the term ‘disposable’. It asks us to think deeply about what plastic means to us. What has our plastic use meant for your environment, and how do you think we’ll use it in the future?
